We advance faculty leadership that supports college students’ civic impact and strengthens communities.

The Periclean Faculty Leadership (PFL) Program empowers college faculty across our consortium to reimagine their courses as catalysts for civic and community transformation, supporting innovative teaching that connects academic learning with real-world challenges. Through competitive grants, we enable faculty to create dynamic learning experiences where students both study and participate in democracy. We cultivate a growing network of faculty champions who embed civic engagement deeply into their teaching, mentor colleagues, and share pedagogical approaches that inspire students to see themselves as change-makers in their local and broader communities.
